Some Things To Be Excited About

marcjacobsbeautyWith the recent release of the Marc Jacobs Beauty collection, it has got me pretty excited about the upcoming collaborations in fashion.

Starting September 15, CFDA’s award winning fashion designer Phillip Lim will be debuting his long awaited collection for Target. It’s an exciting week for Lim, seeing how the release follows his NY runway show which will display his most recent collection for the 3.1 Phillip Lim line. The long-awaited collaboration with Target will feature simple pieces for men and women with some fun prints thrown into the mix. And for those of you who have dreamed of owning the Pashli Satchel, this might just be your chance to get the next best thing and for a fraction of the cost.

With over 100 pieces to choose from and prices starting at just 20 bucks (reaching $300), you’re sure to love this line.

And then following in November (14th to be exact), Isabel Marant will release her collection for H&M. More to come on that but here’s a photo to hold you over…

Kate Young for Target

It seems like Target has been doing designer collaborations left and right lately. The idea of offering high-end creations to the everyday public is a great idea to me and allows people who could not normally afford designer clothing the option to be stylish.

Starting April 14, for the first time, Target will feature a celeb stylist in another trendy collab. Kate Young is one of the most renowned stylists in Hollywood and made last years list of the 25 most influential stylists. Although she has never designed before, we all know she has been around fashion enough to create a killer line.

Clothing and accessories will range in price from $14.99 to $89.99

The Shops at Target: The Webster

If you haven’t heard of The Shops at Target, listen up!

I’m sure you’ll all be disappointed to hear that Target stores will no longer be collaborating with amazing designers like they have done in the past (Missoni, Jason Wu) but they are coming up with a new concept of selling designer apparel.

The Shops at Target will soon be opening in Target stores all over and will sell exclusive one of a kind products designed Target along with a featured boutique.  These shops will feature designer stores (The Webster, Miami) and many other great stores (The Candy Store, Cos Bar cosmetics, Polka Dog Baker, and Privet Home) products in six week intervals.

May 6, Target is releasing The Webster for Target!  The Webster is a popular and fashionable shop based out of Miami, FL.  The Miami and beach-like vibe is perfect for summer time and the prices start at just $14.99.

“I wanted to create a collection of all my favorite pieces—a classic shift dress, seventies-inspired wedges, soft cotton tees for men—that make up the perfect wardrobe for summer,” said Dubreuil, The Webster CEO and co-founder.
